Hinton in general is an uncohesive town, and this area is especially disjointed, so finding this cute and quaint coffee house come deli was a very lovely surprise. As soon as you walk through the door you pick up a good vibe and feel like staying a little longer. Both coffee and food were excellent, and the relaxed seating is a calming welcome for travellers. The WiFi was good quality, so there was an added bonus that I could plan my day's activities. A well deserved 5-stars.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Trendy. Their caramel mocha is outta this world. Bit pricey for my personal budget. But well worth it. Will be again for sure

Came for lunch along the drive to Jasper. Fast service and really helpful staff. Ambience is great as well. Food was homemade and the sandwiches were healthy and filling.

The art was beautiful. Desserts looked great. But service not good. Not even a goodbye as we left.

Stellar espressos, and the fresh baked "bunwich" is my go to. Great service and a really lovely and friendly couple who own and work at the Old Grind make it a special treat and my go to to start the day

It has a mini boutique shop at the back of the cafe.

I found The Old Grind by accident. I had already bought some breakfast-to-go elsewhere, and only intended to get a coffee here, but I ended up sitting in and buying a whole new breakfast as I couldn't resist the way-too-tempting offerings.

Tip: It's a bit to easy to spend too long lingering here, so bare that in mind!
