  Helen is a great waitress, she's been there forever (she's the owner's sister), and you're more than likely to be welcomed warmly whether it's your first visit or haven't been there in ages.

  I've had many other items here, and if you like a LOT of cheese you'll love their pizzas. If you don't like a lot, let them know in advance.

  From the outside, it looks like a place to avoid. But take a step through the doors and you know you've found the most popular place in town! We thought the full house might cause the service or quality of the pizza to suffer, but we were wrong. The service was excellent! And the pizza was one of the best I've ever had - lots of cheese and toppings. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

  Small place, just don't let the location and outward appearance fool you. It's not a fancy joint, but I've always found the food is great.

  The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Such a great little spot out of the regular knowing restaurants. This is definitely one of Hinton vest spots.

  Gus welcomed us personally and invited us to sit where we wished. Our server was prompt, efficient, and friendly and checked on us several times. Food was brought to our table within 10 minutes after ordering and it was tasty.

  A visit to Gus' Pizza is a must whether just driving through Hinton, Alberta or staying for several days. We will be back many times to eat at Gus' Pizza when we visit Hinton.

  EVERY time I go through Hinton (where I lived for several years) I get at least one order. The prices have gone up, but for such a treat the cost is worth it to me since I can have 4 servings from the large order (use Wing's soy sauce ONLY to reheat...that is what Gus uses).

  Sit down and take out place with Great service. Our server made very helpful recommendations in a polite and non-pushy way and was friendly. The food was fantastic. Pizza crust is really good, and the dry ribs were a first for us and were delicious. Very good price to top it all off! It's also the only place open after 9pm in Hinton the week we were here (other than Boston Pizza). Highly recommend!

  Gus' Pizza looks unassuming on the outside but the full parking lot encouraged us to enter. Upon entering, the interior is a delightful surprise with well-dressed tables topped with cloth tablecloths & stemmed water goblets in an setting more often found in a fine dining restaurant. The beautiful wood interior is well accented by the colours and interior decor.
